Brax — Feel Good. German Quality Since 1888.
The story of Brax begins in 1888, when master tailor Bernward Leineweber opened a specialist clothing store in Berlin with a bold ambition — to create ready-to-wear clothing that could adapt to every shape and every lifestyle. In 1950, the Brax trouser brand was officially launched, quickly earning the nickname "The Trousers of Progress" for their groundbreaking fits and technical innovations — including Germany's very first trousers with a zip fastener.
More than 135 years later, Brax has grown far beyond its trouser roots into a full premium casual collection for women, encompassing trousers, jeans, tops, knitwear, shirts, and jackets — all united by the same guiding philosophy the brand has held since the beginning: quality, fit, and feeling good in what you wear.
Today, Brax stands for high-quality garments, class-leading manufacturing quality, and a perfect fit. Design and headquarters remain in Herford, Germany, where every piece still passes through a rigorous quality control process before reaching the customer. Cotton is sourced primarily from Europe and South America, where the finest quality fibres are grown, and the brand is an active member of the Amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative, committed to ethical and transparent supply chains.
Brax also takes sustainability seriously. Their Blue Planet label highlights products that are sustainably produced using sustainable raw materials and environmentally friendly production procedures.
BRAX is all about passion — a passion for inspiring customers, reflected in every project and every decision. For women who value comfort, modern style, and clothes that simply work, Brax delivers every time.
